Class Description

Ever wondered how seasoned actors seem so grounded in their character work?  Have you ever watched yourself on film and thought, "Man, I was in and out on that"?  Then this is the class for you.  In this 2-day intensive, you will work to gain better command over your actor's instrument, both vocally and physically.  We will find your barriers and help you to overcome them, build your actor's muscle so that you can continue to perform at high levels take after take, and help you to find new ways of expressing character and choices in ways that READ well on screen.  Working within the modalities of body work, journaling, and camera work, you will learn how to better utilize your gifts, explore choices and begin to master control over your actor's instrument.
